Acting Like God is Real

Devotions:

        When we act like God is real, and He is, then He is real to us.  If we act like there is no God or that God just does not care then He seems a far off and indifferent.  It takes faith to please God. We must believe in His goodness and belileve in His love for us inorder to be able to receive that love.  His love never changes and is always reaching out to us but if we are not looking for it expectantly then it will just pass us on by and we will not even realize that we have been in His presence.  

        Faith is action.  A part of faith is having a firmly held conviciton.  We can have a firmly held conviction but never act upon it and see no results.  It is when we speak and act that we see faith produce what God has already provided in Jesus.  As we order lives around the reality of God and in expectation of His goodness to meet us at every turn in our lives then we see God move on our behalf and meet our expectation and more.  

        Jesus said that it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed, very small, to move a tree or a mountain.  Jesus also tells us that you must plant the seed on good ground, wather it and cultivate it.  Then when it is mature you will reap the fruit of the word that you have been putting into your heart.  So do not lose hope, keep acting like the word of God is true and God is real and you will see the results.  

        "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
