Devotions:
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20 KJV
“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” Matthew 13:24 KJV
The kingdom of God operates on the principle of sowing and reaping. Our faith is like a seed which we plant. So where the kingdom of God is not present in our lives whether it be sickness and disease or poverty or lack of manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit.... we need to find the right seeds and plant them in our hearts and water them until they sprout and put on fruit and the fruit matures so that the kingdom of God is manifest in our lives. We need to find the scriptures on healing, if divine health and healing is what we lack. Then take the time to write these scriptures down and meditate upon them until they become second nature to us. When we see ourselves with what the scriptures says is already ours then we will see the results in the natural realm.
Many times we do not get what we have asked in prayer because we have not planted the seed for what we need and watered it and waited patiently for the fruit to come forth. We want it now when we ask. But God and His kingdom works on a seed time and harvest principle. What are your needs? Find a seed and plant it, water it and watch it grow. How to water? Continue to go over the promises that you have based your faith upon and reinforce them in your heart.
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 KJV
