Strategies of God

Devotions:

It is good to have a plan and even better to have God's plan.  The muslims have a plan to take over the world and make everyone muslim or they will die.  This a demonic plan that has a demonic anointing and so it moves forward supernaturally especially where the body of Christ does not have any power.  This lack of power is because of lack of faith in what the Lord has done for us.

God has a plan.  His will is that none be lost but that all come to the knowledge of salvation. We of the body of Christ are workers together with the Lord in implementing His plan.  Our part is to believe in the fullness of His salvation for us and tell those around us what the goodness of the Lord has done for them as well.

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””  ‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Here Jesus gives us the plan of God.  First Jesus tells that all authority in heaven and on earth was given to Him then He authorizes us to access and use this authority as we implement His plan.  We are to go and make disciples of all nations.  This is not to be carried out with physical violence but through the wooing of His love for us and for them.  We become the vessels of His love.  We are not just to tell of His love and have them pray a pray but we are to disciple them. We first introduce them personally to the living Savior, and the Father our creator. Then we are to teach them to observe all that the Lord commanded, how to walk in the love of God.  We are to share our walk with the Lord and our encounter with Him.  Then baptism is the initiation into this new family, the first baptism being the new birth and is testified to by our water baptism. This is followed, usually, by the baptism in the Holy Spirit which is the power to fulfill the ministry that the Lord has for us.  In all this work Jesus said that He would be with us always.  He is coworking with us and doing the work as we believe.  Do not step out on your own to work for God, but step out with Him and watch Him work miracles through you.

We are not to be daunted by the strategies of the enemy because he is defeated already.  God is looking for a people who will take up His strategy to reach the world and go forward with it.  This is the reason we are in the world to share the good news and disciple those who believe.
