Praying for Our Future
Devotions:
“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:26-27 NASB
“but just as it is written, "T HINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, A ND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, A LL THAT G OD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE H IM." For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-13 NASB
“For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.” 1 Corinthians 14:2 NASB
As we take time every day to pray in the Spirit, pray in tongues, we are praying out our destinys so that we will know the path that God has for us and we have prayed through any problems that satan tries to put in our way. God has given us this marvelous, supernatural gift to make life easier for us but we have to use it to receive the benefit from it. As we make it a habit to daily pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit through whom we are receiving the utterance will show us things to come in our lives and He will show us how to walk in the fullness of the blessings that God has for us.
