The Shine

Devotions:

        “Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        We were made the righteousness of God in Christ when we were born again. Here in the prophecy of Daniel he says that those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven.  This insight is the revelation in our hearts of who we are in Christ, the righteousness of God.  When we understand and know our place in Christ before the Father we will receive from and radiate His life throughout the universe. 

        “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:14, 19‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        We were made His righteousness and called into that righteousness that we might walk in it.  The reason that we do not walk in that righteousness is because we do not believe that we God's righteousness.  This should be our constant confession, that we are the righteousness of God in Christ even when we are failing.  As we confess this constantly, our bad habits, our failings and sins will eventually cease and we will manifest His glory. 

        Then we will lead many to the same righteousness that we are walking in.  Righteousness is the doorway to love, God's love for us. When the people see us walking in that love their hearts will cry out for that love and we can show them the pathway, Jesus.
