Who Do You Hang With?

Who we associate with will determine the path for our lives. It is said that I can tell where you will be in five years by looking at the friends you have and who you associate with. If you want good grades then you need to hang around people who make good grades. If you want to be closer to the Lord then hang around people who are hungry for God and the things of God. As you hang around them they will talk about their hunger and it will build hunger in you. If you hang around people who talk about sex all the time then you will have a hard time controlling yourself in the sexual area.
If you want to be like Jesus, then hang around Jesus. Spend time with Him and develop your relationship with Him. As you hang around Jesus you will also be hanging around the Holy Spirit and you will begin to do the works that Jesus did, you will begin to operate in the "gifts of the Spirit". You will also take on a boldness because when you know that you are a favorite of God and that He is backing you as you obey Him then you will say,"Wwhat can any man do unto me?" God is successful in all that He does so as you hang around Jesus, God in the flesh, then you will end up being successful in all that you do,

If you keep company with people or a person that keeps pushing you to do something that you know is wrong, you will eventually do the wrong and regret doing it. Be willing to leave a relationship if it is pushing you away from God and God's ways.
