God's Love For You

June 27, 2016

Devotions:

Each time God's love touches you, it will transform you. God's love is what bring healing physically and emotionally. God's love is manifested in His anointing! We should never dwell on how imperfect we are but God's total sufficiency to meet our every need and His radical willingness to do so. The greatest demonstration of God's love for us is when He sent Jesus to become our sin and take the full punishment for that sin to give us total forgiveness.  Because of God's great love He did not hold back Jesus but freely gave Him us for us all how much more will God not give us everything else that we need.

God is love so everything that He does is out of that love. There is no other motivation in God except love.  His judgement is an expression of that love.  It is the separation of everything that would bring pain and sorrow to His creation.  But He gave man freedom of choice so man can choose to be united with the destruction.  When anyone receives the work of Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection on our behalf, that person is removed from the kingdom of destruction and translated into the kingdom of God's goodness which is a manifestation of His love.  The more we understand and receive God's love the more we will love those around us, even the unloveable.

One reason we come together on Sunday's and at other times is to enter into a greater manifestation of His presence and His love.  As we cultivate this in our lives then when we gather there is a greater manifestation.  This is the love that Jesus displayed and that attracted the crowds in His day.  Our hearts cry is to walk more and more in the love of the Father. We do not walk by our feelings but by faith.  Feelings come and go but our faith says that the Father's love is constant no matter what I feel.

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
