Devotions:

        “Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.”

        In order to walk in victory we must coorperate with God through our faith.  God is the one gives us the victory but it is up to us to allow that victory through beleiving Him and what He has done.  We are established through faith in the gospel that Paul preached which is the preaching of Jesus Christ. 

        What is the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages past?  Colossians 1:27 it is Christ in you the hope of glory.  When we understand our identity in Chirst which leads to the obedience of faith in God.  It is when we know who we are not saying that we know but when we know as demonstrated by our actions, our willing free loving obedience to our Father.  God will establish us as we hold on to who we have been made in Jesus.  Satan convinced Adam and Eve that they were different from who God had made them, that they were not a beloved son and daughter but things to be manipulated and used.  Satan told them that they could be greater that they were if they threw off God but when they did they became less than God had made them.  

        God has an exalted place for us as we believe what he has done as we walk in the revelation that we are sons and daughters because Christ is in us.  God will establish us in Him and His purposes.
