Days of Heaven on Earth

Devotions:

        “That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”  ‭Matthew‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        God's desire and design is that all of His creation be consistent.  The model is what we know of heaven, no crying or pain or heartache, no death, no sin.  This is what Jesus taught us to pray.  In Deuteronomy, Moses said that if the people would make the word of God a priority then they would have days of heaven on earth.  We have an advantage in that in the new birth we were given a heart to follow God.  

        Our soul that is unrenewed will war against our spirit, that is born again and will side in with our body and dominate us.  Thus it is of necessity that we spend time in the word daily to allow the Holy Spirit to give us revelation of His word so we will be doers of the word and not hearers only.  

        We talk about going to heaven and look forward to that when we die but we do not have to wait to die, as we think God's thoughts after Him and walk in God's ways we will experience heaven of earth because we will be submitted to the ruler of heaven, God and experience His bountiful goodness.  Some think that this is a fairy tale but it is not.  Satan's design of sin is to keep us out of God's goodness and keep us miserable on earth rather than walking in heavenly realities here on earth.    You can pursue the cheap vanities of sin or you can pursue the rich realities of heaven here on earth.  As you walk by the spirit you will walk in the heavenly realm here on earth.
