Devotions:
“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: "See that no one knows about this! "” Matthew 9:27-30 NASB
Jesus asks a simple question that we all need to answer. Do we believe that He is able to do what we ask of Him. He then touched them and said, "according to your faith be it done to you." We receive what we are able to believe that God is able and wants to do for us. Many things we do not receive because we do not believe that God is able or wants to do what we have asked.
Many times we ask God for something and do not see quick answer and then try to justify why we did not receive.
Fellowshipping with the Father is the Mother to our faith. As we fellowship with the Father we discover His will. As He speaks that will to us it creates faith within us. His word is His will but until it is spoken to our hearts we cannot believe it. All of our flesh testifies against His word being true. All our circumstances testifes against His word being true. But it is true and our flesh, our feelings, our circumstances are all liars.
These two blind men sought Jesus until they got an audience with Him then they received what they came for. Our flesh, our feelings, our circumstances, our erroneous teachings that we have heard that do not line up with the word of God hinder us from receiving what is ours by Jesus' sufferings. All thhese things we must press through and by faith come into the presence of the Lord. We stay in His presence until we can hear what He says. Then we boldly step out in faith to receive what He has provided. You have been made His righteousness. Act on that righteousness and choose to come into His presence and receive what He has for you.
