Is He Able

Devotions:

“When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.”  ‭Matthew‬ ‭9:28‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This question that Jesus asked is the question that we need to ask in all of our quest to receive God's provision for us spirit, soul and body.  You pray for money but do you believe that Jesus is able to do what we have asked.  We need to search our hearts to see if we really believe that Jesus is able to do what we have asked.

Faith begins where the will of God is known.  When we know the will of God we will know what God yearns, longs and has great desire to do on our behalf because of His great love for us.  When we know this then having faith that He will do what He has promised is easy.  When we pray and ask in faith (because we have found it in His word as revealed by the Holy Spirit) we immediately believe that we have received what we have asked for.  We may not see an immediate manifestation of what we have asked but our faith remains strong that God has heard and answered our petition.  From the time that we ask and the time that the answer is manifested we must keep our eyes on the word of God, the faithfulness of God and the tremendously strong desire of God to answer our petition.  This strong desire is plainly illustrated in Jesus freely and voluntarily going to the cross for our sins even though we did not ask or desire Him to do so.

Rejoice in your Heavenly Father's great desire to see His word, His blessing come to pass in your life. If God withholds or hesitates on fulfilling any of His great promises in our lives, when we truly ask in faith, then He values those blessings more than He did the life of His son.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”  ‭Romans‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬
