Love

Devotions:
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:14-21 NASB
God's love is greater than we can comprehend. God told Moses that if Moses looked fully into the glory of His love, he would die. Moses was still in his sin though righteousness was imputed to him, his sin were only covered, not remitted.
Paul prays in Ephesians that God's people we would be strengthened by the power of the spirit in the inner man. This is what the revelation of God's love for us does, strengthen us. Moses could not have this revelation of the love of God but we can, our sins are forgiven and our sin removed. The anchor of our souls, the root and ground of our being is to be the love of God for us. As we are filled with the love of God we are filled with God, God is love. The more that we walk in love the more that we discover the height, length, width and breath of the love that God has for us and are filled with God. This seems impossible to be filled with the fullness of God but Paul says that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us. That is the Holy Spirit who is God, who is love in action.
