Healing is throughout the Old Covenant.
“and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.””
Exodus
NKJV
“But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” Exodus 23:25-26 NASB
“Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;”. Psalms 103:3 NASB
This is only a few of the scriptures that demonstrates that God provided healing for His covenant people. God meant for His people to walk in divine health. This is a part of the blessings of the Lord.
Jesus healed the sick.
“Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.” Matthew 4:23 NASB
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! What He did on earth He is doing here today. The apostles continued the healing.
“to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on any one of them. Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed." Acts 5:15-16 NASB
Healing is a part of the New Covenant. It is our heritage that we should walk in. We should expect to walk in the blessings of God. We have a better covenant based on better promises. We should expect to walk in divine health.
