"Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10 AMP)
"Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you]." (Luke 17:21 AMP)
Jesus taught the disciples to pray and ask for the coming of the Kingdom of God. In Luke Jesus said that the Kingdom of God would be within us. As we live out the life of the Kingdom of God within us we then establish the Kindgom of Heaven around us where our Father's will is done on earth as it is in heaven. God gave the authority to Adam to rule this earth and Adam gave it to satan, thus the cruelity, chaos, destruction and injustice that we see on the earth today. It takes man to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth today and God working through man. The Kingdom of Heaven will not be fully established until Jesus returns because there will always be people who are following the prince of darkness instead of the King of Kings.
The Kingdom of Heaven consist in power.
"and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power," (1 Corinthians 2:4 NASB)
"For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power." (1 Corinthians 4:20 NASB)
This is not a power for a special few or that is to be foreign to the believer but it is to be our everyday life. We live by this power, the life of God in us which we received in the new birth and we minister by this power in signs and wonders which we received in the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It is the same Holy Spirit only different administrations. Our job is to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on this earth as much as possible through the Kingdom of God which resides within us and is us. We are to manifest the love of God to everyone that we meet whether they are nice to us or not. We are to overcome evil with good by the power of God within us. This also means healing the sick, restoring the maimed and lame, casting out demons and setting the captive free while we walk in the abundance of the kingdom. An embassy official, while living in another country lives by the standards of his country and the laws of his country. We are ambassadors for Christ. We live by the provision of our Father not of this world and we live by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus not the law of sin and death.
You are a kingdom son and daughter, Walk like it and not like the world.
