"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." (‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ KJV)

One of the greatest needs of a human being is to be accepted by someone they think is significant.  If we are rejected by our parents then we spend all our life trying to work our way back into their acceptance.  Here Paul says that we are accepted by God.  He has put His stamp of aproval upon us because we are in the beloved, Jesus.  This is only because of His grace and the goodness of that grace.  As you accept that God has accepted you and not rejected you because of your bad behavior. We may have done what we would think is bad things and feel totally unworthy about it but our worthyness is in Jesus and His shed blood to pay for our sins.  When we accept God's forgiveness in Christ Jesus and are born from above we are placed into Him.  We recognize that we were in HIm when He died for our sins.  We were in Jesus when He was buried and raised from the dead.  We were in Him when He was accepted by the Father upon His return to heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father.  Because Jesus is the beloved, highly favored Son of the Father, so are we.

How do you see yourself? If you do not see yourself in the beloved then you do not see clearly.

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬ KJV)

We stand just as Jesus does, fully in the presence of the Father. Do we merit this, NO! Could we merit this, NO! But it is ours none the less and the fact that you do and could not merit His grace should set your heart and mouth to praising and giving thanks to His name.  You are accepted in the beloved, praise Him for this until it is real to you then keep praising.
