Sin Put Away

"“For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.” Psalms 5:4-5 KJV
God hates sin, unrighteousness and wickedness. That is why He provided an escape from sin, wickedness and unrighteousness. His name is Jesus. First Jesus died with the full punishment for our sins and we died with Him by the punishment of sin. So there is no more penalty for sin because the law took its fatal blow and we died. With the mountain of sin out of the way, our access to the Father is clear. When Jesus was raised victorious over sin, death and the grave, we were raised with Him into newness of life, His life in us. We were infused with resurrection life, the life, nature and righteousness of God. As we were set free from the penalty of sin through the death of Jesus we are delivered from the power of sin through His life in us. We are no longer under the cruel dominance of sin but now dwell under the lovingkindness of our Savior and Lord. We are not to look to our own self efforts to overcome sin but the power that resides in our born again spirit. This is the resurrection life of Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, the glory of the Father. This life overcame all death in Jesus that we was imposed by our sin and theensuing curse. That proven power to overcome is now in us but we must choose that power, that life and come to the place of total dependence upon Him. Only Jesus saves, You cannot save yourself not can anyone else save you except Jesus.
"“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 KJV
