Honor the Word of God

Devotions:
It is only when we honor the word of God over our opinions and the opinions of others that we truly see the reality of His love. God loves people more than we do and Jesus died for all people. It is His will tha tno man perish but that all come to the knowledge of salvation. There are some preachers today that believe that a good God will not send any one to hell or that hell does not even exist. But hell exist and God does not send people there they choose to go themselves by rejecting the liberal provision of a loving God. what about those who have not had a chance to hear? god is more compassionate and concerned than you are and He has the answer but I do not. My job is to receive and demonstrate the love of God to those who do not know about the love of our Creator. I am not the one with the master plan, God is. God's plan is that all come to the knowledge of salvation but some will not accept His goodness because their deeds are evil and they do not want to come to the light. In God''s plan we get no glory because we have no part in our salvation, we just accept all that He has done and the ability to accept comes from Him also. All that is left for us is to enter into praise and thanksgiving for the goodness of our God towards us.
Our salvation rests totally with Him we just receive it and enjoy it. After we receive Jesus we are then on a path of discovery of the fullness of His goodness towards as demonstrated in Jesus. It is the word of God that is the objective revelation of God's goodness and it is the Holy Spirit who takes the truth and makes it subjective and real in our lives. This is all done by the operation of faith in our lives. The faith that the word of God creates within us when we hear it. If we so not honor the word of God then we short circuit the power that is in the word of God and destroy our faith.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV)
