Love Never Fails
Devotions:
Love is the greates weapon that we have. Love never fails. God is love and God never fails. The God of Love has come and set you free from the snares and bondages of satan that were set to destroy you. Jesus set you free by first paying the full price for your sins, all of them. Sin no longer has any power over you to condemn you. All of the condemnation was taken by Jesus. Then Love made you righteous.
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3 KJV
By the new birth God brought our spirits into agreement with Him. He made us righteous, therefore we can walk with Him without any fear or condemnaiton or guilt. In the new birth we received God's life. Our salvation is in allowing that life to manifest through us. We are to live out of our spirit which is born again and not out of our souls and flesh. Our souls and flesh use to dominate us before the new birth.
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
Romans 8:5-9 KJV
Now we can choose to follow the flesh or the spirit.
