The Love of God

Devotions:

        We are to rest and be secure in the love that God has for us.  His ability is unquestionable.  His power and might is awesome and unmatched in the whole universe.  So He is well able to provide all that we need abundantly.  In His love for us He demonstrates His willingness to bless us at every turn.  His love was demonstrated when He Jesus to the cross for our sins, trangressions and iniquities.  We are to be established in His love for us and in His desire to walk in intimacy with us every day.  God's redeeming love has overcome all of our sins. God's love is unconditional and is not based on what we can do for Him, our beauty or ability. God loves us because He is love. That is His nature to love and bless all of His creation abundantly and continuously.  You are a part of His creation, in fact humans are the crown of God's creation.  We were not created for the earth or the universe, the earth and the universe were created for mankind. In the Garden of Eden as well as in heaven we see a paradise that is dominated by the love of God.  This is the love that is available to us today, as much as we can handle. 

        “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”  1 John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        When you are walking in the awareness of God's incredible love for you, you are expecting good things to happen at every turn of your day.  And if negative things come your way, and they will, they God will turn the negative into a blessing.

                “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”  ‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        Keep your mind focused on God's love for you all the time and allow God's blessings, His goodness and His mercy to run down the street and tackle you,
