Devotions        

        “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”  ‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        God in His great love for us has made provision for every area of our lives.  Without God we have nothing and we can do nothing.  There is no good without Him.  When we believe in His goodness we will seek Him with all our hearts.  Our biggest problem is not the devil or curses that people oranyone else tries to put on us. but our own thinking, our own unbelief about His love for us.  

        Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.  When Jesus shed His blood He paid for all our sins and offenses against God even the ones we have yet to commit.  When Jesus died were not even though of yet and as yet had not committed any sins but He paid the price.  With our sins forgiven all our problems with God were taken care of.  All of God's blessings now belong to us in Christ Jesus.  Jesus is our total acceptance before the Father.  God has revealed to us in His word all the blessings that He has prepared for us.  

        We focus on how much God loves us and how faithful He is to us and His covenant.  It is His love for us that transforms us as we renew our minds to the provision that He has provided through His Spirit.  In the Old Covenant they were to follow the law.  But the law did not give them any way to fulfill it.  In the New Covenant we are to follow the leading of the Spirit and He empowers us through faith in His word and His life to fulfill all the will of the Father.  

        “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”  ‭Colossians‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬
