Devotions:

        “but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”  ‭Ephesians‬ ‭

4:15-16

‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        When you go to church does it go up to a higher level because you are there? Every believer has an anointing and when we gather together the cumulative effect of those anointings is greater than the individual anointings.  We the body each individual have a supply to give.  As we each come in faith and do what the Lord has given us to do there is a supply of the anointing that is released to the building up of the whole body, not only the local body which we are a part of but also the body of Christ in our city and area and world.  One of the necessities for us to grow into maturity is to be joined to each other and meet regularly as the body of Christ.  We will not come into the fullness of who we unless we are involved with the body.  Love is the supernatural glue that holds us all together.  The anointing works by love, the love that we have one for each other.  We each have a place in the body and we need to find our place.  In that place we will shine and be a blessing to the rest of the body.  We walk in humillity.

        We are to speak the truth to each other in love.  The word of God is the truth. We are to speak what the word of God says to us that we are and that others are.

        “so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:5-6, 10‬ ‭NASB‬‬
