Atmosphere of His Presence

Devotions:

        We need to be aware of the spiritual atmosphere around us.  This atmosphere is determined by what is going on around us and what we are doing.  If you go to a night club there are ungodly  people there who walk in their ungodlyness and practice there ungodlyness there.  This invites demons to hang around and creates an ungodly atmosphere.  If you are always venting your anger or around people who are always venting their anger then there is a very negative atmosphere which is damaging to you.  Both of these atmospheres hinders your ability to hear from God.  If you want to fulfill you maxium potential with God then you should seek to create and abide in an atmosphere that invites the presence of God.  This is created by what we think upon and what we say.

        “Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.”

        “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

        When we spend time praying regularly we build a dwelling place for God and create an atmosphere for God to move.  All that we receive from God is by faith through the anointing.  We need then to be mindful of the anointing which is His glory.  When Moses asked for God's presence to go with Israel, and to know His ways and to see God's glory God granted these prayers and after Moses saw the hinder part of God's goodness, his face shone with the glory of God.  Exodus 33,34.  Everytime that Moses went to the tent of meeting the glory of God descended upon the tent and Moses met with God.  Moses was faithful in all his house towards God and Moses cultivated the presence of God.  

        How much more can we today cultivate the presence of God which is the presence of miracles.  We want to cultive the God atmosphere inwhich goodness and miracles happen not the atmosphere of the evil one.  Seek God's face and He will be found.  Get rid of the things that interferes with the atmosphere of His presence.
