Creating an Atmosphere; a dwelling place for God
“that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:16-19 NASB
The dwelling place for God is through the revelation of Chirst's love for us. He strengthens us by His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ will dwell in our hearts by faith. We receive from the Holy Spirit the revelation of who we are as created by God. He has made us His dearly beloved. He delights in us! He recreated us for good works that we could bless others and from that be blessed.
From that revelation, praise arises from our lipe. In good times and bad times because no one and nothing can separate us from that love. As we honor what God has done for us, we create a dwelling place for Him. When we receive the revelation of the work of God in us we are overcome by His love for us. In response to this revelation of His love for us, we lift our voice to minister to Him by acknowledging what He has done for us through our praise and thanksgiving. We become established is His love. Praise and thanksgiving are a way of life. Everyday, throughout the day, we choos to lift our voice in good circumstances and bad circumstances to praise Him because we know that our God will deliver us.
As we choose to focus on Him, we become convinced that our God really does dwell in us and is for us. Then we carry the atmosphere of His presence where ever we go because we treat Him as real and present and so He demonstrates Himself to be in our lives.
