Faith

Devotions:

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ."  Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭NASB‬‬

We cannot have faith until we know the will of God.  God's word is His will. Many think they know the will of God but they are not sure.  Some think they know the will of God but they do not correctly understand the word of God.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”  ‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we know the will of God without a doubt we can have full faith in God's promise and will see the promised results.  Many think they have faith when all they have is a mental agreement that the word of God is true but they do not believe in their hearts.  We take the circumstantial evidence and the evidence of the professionals over the word of God.  We give higher honor to our senses and to our experiences and professionals than we do to the word of God.  When we truly believe the word of God and His promises we will act like they are true.  Our faith is perfected by our corresponding actions.  Our actions seal our faith.  Faith without actions is dead.  Action without faith will produce no results.  If we do not see results from our actions then we need to look at our faith to see where we are incorrect in our believing.

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”  ‭John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you believe, you will do.
