Devotions:

“so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:10-14‬ ‭NASB‬‬

In the last portion of the prayer that Paul prays in Colossians 1, he talks about walking worthy of the Lord to please Him in all respects.  To walk worthy of the Lord is to walk fully in the redemption that He has wrought for us. All the factors that Paul mentions here, bearing fruit, strengthened, attaining all steadfastness and patience joyously giving thanks, comes from acknowledging and walking in the redemptive truths that Jesus did for us.

One, He qualified to be coheirs with Jesus along with all the saints.  Jesus stands to inherit the whole universe and we also with Him inherit the whole universe.

Secondly, He delivered us out of the domain, the authority of darkness.  Satan no longer has a hold on us, we have been delivered.  Do not put up with any of satan's fruit, sickness, disease, poverty, calamity... But you must be convinced and stand your ground on the word of God.  You have been delivered, past tense, from the domain of darkness. If someone tries to put and evil curse on you then tell it to go back where it came from in Jesus name.

Three, we have been transferred into the kingdom of His beloved Son, the Son of His favor.  You are in Christ Jesus and stand in the place of the favor and blessing of Almighty God. He is favoring you today and showering His blessings on you because you are in Christ.

All of this because our sins have been forgiven and through that forgiveness we are right with out Father God.
