Devotions:

            “"FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. " Hebrews‬ 8:10 NASB‬

        God said that He would be our God. He revealed Himself as Yahweh, the covenant keeping God.

        “And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”  ‭Exodus‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭AMP‬‬

        The causative and the permissive verbs in Hebrew are the same form. So here where God says "I will put none of these diseases upon thee," should read "I will allow none of these diseases upon thee..." The last part God declares that, "for I am the Lord that health thee." In Hebrew it reads, I am Yahweh Rapha.  God numerous times says that healing is a part of His covenant for everyone. 

        Sickness and disease came into the human race when Adam fell.  God created everything good, sickness and disease free.  Adam stepped outside the covering of God into satan's domain.  God said that He would be our God and remove sickness and disease.

        “Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,”. ‭Psalm‬ ‭103:3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

        “so that that should be fulfilled which was spoken through Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”  ‭Matthew‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭DARBY‬‬

        “who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.” ‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭DARBY‬‬

          He is our God and we are His people.  He protects and heals us. He provides our every need.
