Celebrate

Devotions:
"Your celebration is a demonstration of your expectation." Mark Hankins.
When you ask in prayer we are to believe that we receive what we ask for from God. The level that we believe that we receive is measured by our excitement. In our excitement we celebrate the love of the Father. So our celebration demonstrates our expectation which is a manifestation of our faith.
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4 NASB
We count it joy when we encounter various trial because we have another opportunity to see God's word work in our lives. We pray and believe that we receive what we asked for and we rejoice, celebrate that we have the answer before we see it manifest, that is faith. We are assured that our Father heard us and has answered our prayer. Notice that the trying of our faith works patience. What do we do while we wait? We celebrate with a joyous celebration because we know in our heart that our Father cannot lie and based on His word we have what we have asked for even when things seem to get worse.
If we seem weak in faith, as we celebrate our faith is strengthened and as we keep rejoicing our faith becomes secure in God's word. We the maintain this faith then through our celebration even in the face of negative conditions because we have the positive report of the word of God and we know that our God cannot lie. What He has said He will do, He will do. Rejoice.
