Nothing in Me

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30 KJV
The graat mystery of Christianity is that we are in Jesus and He is in us. All that pertains to Him also pertains to us. All that is not of Him is not of us. Here in John Jesus made a startling statement, that the devil Han nothing in Him. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life so the enemy had nothing of which to accuse Him, This perfection was passed to us.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20 KJV
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”John 15:4 KJV
If by the blood of Jesus Satan cannot have any hold on you then neither can any of his works. By the blood of Jesus we are in Him and He is in us. We must choose to believe this over the lies of Satan. We must believe and proclaim this, that the enemy has no hold on us because we are in Jesus, not because of our works. When we start to look at our own works, good or bad, then we allow Satan to have a hold over us because we will then begin to believe his lie because we do not walk perfect. So Satan accuses of worng doing of which we are guilty and we are condemned instead of looking at Jesus and saying that by His blood all my sins are wiped away, I am forgiven, I am clean and righteous before my Father.
