God's Word Is Truth

Devotions:

      We must come to an understanding of the power of God's word. God stands behind His word or else He would be a liar.  God cannot lie.

      “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:”. Hebrews‬ ‭6:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

      How we activate God's word is through our faith in God and His word. Faith is acting as if God's word is true. As we act like God's word is true it will manifest every time. As we meditate on His word until it becomes a part of out thinking so that our first reaction to a situation is the word of God.

      “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”  2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

      How high is our expectation that God's will come true for us? Our attitude should be, "God said it and He will do it." Our expectations are expressed by our celebration and excitement. Let us then get excited about God's word to us. As we start, our excitement may seem false or fake but as we press on regardless because we know that God's word is true, our feelings will follow and we will see God's word become a reality in our lives.
