To Know and Believe

Devotions:

        “Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        This is the simplest form of faith, believe God and that what He has saidis true. When we look at the "promises of God" many are not promises to be fulfilled in the future but are truths that are ours right now.  We must believe God that when He say "Jesus bore our sickness and carried our diseases," He was not saying that God was going to heal me if I asked but that Healing is mine and I just need to act as if it is real right now.  We act on what we believe.  In Christ Jesus all of our salvation is a finished work. It already exist in the spiritual realm and it becomes reality in the natural realm when we believe it , that is act on it.  Sometimes this takes a period of time but we must stay true to our confession of God's goodness in our lives and  that His provision bought by the cross of Jesus is ours and we will see the manifestation.  Abraham became thoroughly persuade that what God had said, He would do.  How do we know that we are fully persuaded? Because we are of good cheer. We are not worrying or doubting or fretting but we have a joy in our heart knowing that what God has said, He will perform for us. 

        We have confidence in the Father's love for us, we are the disciple that Jesus loved. 

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” ‭1 John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Believe it the Father's love for you.
