Beginning of Wisdom

Devotions:

      The heart of man cries out for wisdom and understanding. The word of God says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Psalm 111: 10  So as we learn what the fear of the Lord is and practice it we will walk in wisdom. The fear of the Lord is not to be afraid of Him, (Exodus 20: 20), not to be ruled by the cringing fear of punishment for wrong done because Jesus bore all of our punishment. The fear of the Lord is to turn away from evil and wickedness but it is more than that. The fear of the Lord is to honor and respect God. To treasure Him, holding Him in highest esteem and of greatest value.

      You then not honor His word to you but you looking for His word, you are hungering and thirsting for His presence because you know that He is the greatest being in the universe. His every utterance drip with wisdom and knowledge and are vessels full of life for His creation.

      It is a wise decision to accept and believe by acting on the fact that our God's wisdom far surpasses any other wisdom, individually or collectively. So it is a privilege to sit at His feet daily and learn from Him!

      “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.” Psalms‬ ‭27:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
