God's View of You

Devotions:

      When God created mankind, His desire was to fellowship with His creation on the same level that He is. This is why God created mankind in His image and in His likeness.  We also were made to be creative like God. He gave us an imagination to see what we want to create and a voice to create. God spoke and the worlds came into existence. God gave us the same ability. When we do not know that we have this power we use it incorrectly we destroy our lives and the lives of those around us.  God created us to rule and reign over our circumstances on the earth. We are to rule under His rulership.  God created men and women to be sin free.  Sin was created by Satan to steal, kill and destroy.  God created men and women to live in victory and not defeat, in joy and not depression. 

        We must see ourselves as God has created us, as God sees us.  We need to see each other as God sees them.  We who are in Christ must see ourselves as the redeemed, the ones who have been recreated back into the image of Christ.  We must see those who have not received Christ as created in the image of God and are canidates for salvation. 

        “if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.”

        “Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”
