Prayer

Devotions:

      The most important part of prayer is the word of God backing up our prayers. The word has to be in our hearts. We must be totally convinced of its truth. When we pray and do not see results then we look around to see what we need to change because we KNOW that the word of God cannot fail. The word of God is the foundation for our faith and without faith it is impossible to receive from God.

      “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”  Romans‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

      Everything that we receive from God is by grace. It is based on the finished work of Christ. By Adams sin Satan stole everything that was needed for life and godliness.  Jesus restored all that Satan stole by becoming our substitute and paying the full price for our sin. The word of God reveals to us through the Holy Spirit, all that God has accomplish for us in Christ. When we are confident of Christ finished work then we will not give into the lies of the devil. The word then becomes the foundation of all of our prayers and we should expect a one hundred percent answer rate. God cannot lie so His word is always true. God is no respecter of persons so His word is true for you.

      When you meditate on God's promises your level of expectation rises so when you pray you expect God to fulfill His word to you.

      “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
