The Word of God Will Test You

        “He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.”  ‭Psalms‬ ‭105:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Joseph had had two visions from God and shortly afterwards everything went completely the opposit of what the visions seem to indicate.  Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and then falsely accused of violating his masters trust of trying to rape the master's wife.  It looked like there was no way those dreams could come true.  Joseph looked like he just got away with his life.  But as Joseph followed God faithfully the dreams came true.  Many times we are standing on a promise from God and it looks like things are getting worse.  As we stand in the face of contradictory circumstances and declare God's promise to us, God's word tests us as it tested Joseph.  But is we will continue to stand on the word and stay true to God we will see God's word come to pass in our lives.
