Devotions:
“Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.” Psalms 96:2-3 KJV
Many fear witnessing and yet Jesus said that He would make us fishers of men. Jesus also said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. So to fulfill that which He has given us to do is not hard. One way to do this is to experience as much so the goodness of God that you can by your own faith and by coming to church and receiving from the corporate anointing, and then freely tell all those around you all the good things that God has done for you. If we seek the Lord, He will be found by us. As we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. In His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand (that is where we are seated in Christ Jesus) are pleasures forever.
The things that the world has to offer cannot compare to the goodness that God has for you. We are not to make up something or exaggerate but to freely and honestly tell what God has done in your life. As we use our faith and on purpose receive from God what He has promised then we have a testimony. People cannot argue very well against our testimony. We are not making things up but taking God's word and believing Him for what He has already provided in Jesus.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 KJV
Taste and see that the Lord is good and then tell His wonders among the people and declare His glory among the heathen (unbelievers).
