More Than Conquerors

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39 KJV
God created us as more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. This is who we are and as we believe this we will walk in it. We will overcome sickness and disease. We will over come sin and depression and all the oppression of the enemy. We will overcome because we have overcome in Christ Jesus. When Jesus rose from the dead He overcame all of this and more. We were in Him and overcame with Him. He became the curse for us that we might receive the blessing of Abraham.
Our victory is in the fact that nothing can separate us from Him. His presence with us and in us. God has made us His dwelling place, His temple. When we walk in this reality, there is nothing can stop us and nothing can defeat us.
In the Old Testament God was with His people and He was for His people and when they walked in this they did great miracles and won great victories. How much more we who have God living in us by His Holy Spirit. Paul says that nothing can separate us from His presence not even our own sin. It is His presence with us, for us and in us that gives us the victory, more than the victory.
