Everything Provided
Devotions:
“Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” 2 Peter 1:1-4 NASB
All that we have received from God, we receive by faith in what Jesus did in His death, burial and resurrection. In all that He did He restored us to a good, right relationship with the Father God. As we act in faith on this relationship and consistently come into His presence His grace and peace are multiplied to us because the eyes of our understanding are enlightened. We come to understand and know His promises that He has already fulfilled for us and by experiencing His love we see that all that we need, He has provided.
Matthew 6 Jesus teaches His disciples to pray and one line in that prayer is to ask the Father that His kingdom would come and will would be done on earth as in heaven. The norm that our Father wants to resore for us in what we see in heaven. Not just what is good on earth but the new qualifying line is what is in heaven. If what we see on earth does not measure up we are to to take our authority and change it through believing what is the Father's desire, heaven, and the words that we speak. We are not to accept broke and sickly or just a little pain but we were to stand against it. We are not expecting poverty or sickness and disease in Heaven so do not accept them here.
The one thing that we do not have authority over is other people's will. We have authority over what might try to persuade them or control them when it affects us. We have the word that will set them free if they want to receive it but if they do not we cannot twist their arm and make them become Christian.
So do not think that the provision has not been supplied for you to live your life in total victory, it has and as you believe this and act on it you will see God's word proved correct every time and God's faithfulness will abound to you.
Knowledge of God comes by the word of God and prayer. We cannot just pray or just read the word of God. The pure revelation of God comes as the Holy Spirit interprets the word to us and we act on the level of understanding that we have at the time. God's is that we walk in victory in every area of our lives. If there is some area where you are not seeing victory then you need to change something. As you spend time in His presence and ask Him, He will show you what to change.
