God's Peace

“"The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭NASB‬‬

“You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.” ‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.
What is you view of God? Some people's view of God would not allow them to be in perfect peace or any other kind of peace because of the fear that they might displease God and incur His wrath.  God's anger was poured out and quenched on Jesus at Calvary.  Our minds are to be fixed on God's love for us.  The Old Testament revelation of God's love was significantly smaller than ours.  They had the promise of wll that we have but the promise cannot compare with the experience.  Our God is loving kindness and tender mercy.  We have been made His righteousness and we are accepted in the beloved.         People walk in fear that something bad is going to happen to them.  As we follow God and we fill our minds of God's goodness and love we will walk in total peace and comfidence that good things will happen to us today.  The enemy comes to try to steal, kill and destroy but we resist the enemy with our words of hope and confidence in the Father's love for us and His total ability to save us.

According to Isaiah 54, any negative, evil thing tha tries to come at us is not from God and we are to resist it by speaking His word of love for us.

When you do not know God there is a fear and uncertainty about judgement for wrong doing.  When you know God then there is a different type of fear. A holy awe and reverence for Him, that removes from us the evil of sin resident in our souls.  This is the picture of God we are to focus our eyes upon and trust in.
