God Wins

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.” Isaiah‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we look at the situation in the world and in our own countries we sometimes get the idea that the enemy is winning or at least putting up a good fight.  But here in the book of Isaiah God through the prophet says that God will ultimately win and all of His creation will again be subjected to Him.  God will accomplish this through the work of Jesus by the body of Christ, you and me.  We do not have to worry about winning the battle, it is already won and the outcome is secured. What God needs are a people who will believe Him like our spiritual father Abraham did. As we take the good news to our countries in the power of the Gospel, the corruption, crime, drug addiction, abuse, murder and other evil will have to bow to the name of Jesus.  We are the agents that God will use.  We must know our authority over the evil one.  We do not have authority over people but over evil spirits that would influence them.

When I was in seminary the church history class painted the present time as a post Christian Era and the future as dark and black.  But this is not what the word of God tells us.  God will not let the church be defeated, we have already won.  If the church does not rise up, God will raise up a people to do His bidding. Will you be a part of what God is doing and put down your own agenda to do God's?
