Faithfulness

Devotions:

God rewards faithfulness.  We are stewards in this world and as we are faithful over the charge that was given to us then God will promote us.  Being faithful is not just doing enough to just get by but being diligent in the service that was given to us to do more than was required.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” ‭Matthew‬ ‭25:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is the details that make us or break us.  When we faithfully pay attention to the details and make sure that we carry out our charge correctly then we will get promoted.  Many people want to start at the top but God does not work that way.  Even if you have been a leader in ministry somewhere else, at a new church you should be willing to prove yourself and do whatever job you are given.  As you are diligent and faithful, God will promote you.  Until then choose to be happy in the job you are in.  It is not about you but the kingdom of God.  Do everything you can to promote the kingdom.
