Prayer Privilege

Devotions:

One of the works that God has called us to is the work of prayer and intercession . When we esteem and honor God by availing ourselves of this great work then God will honor us. Prayer and intercession opens the door for salvation, deliverance and healing but it also shores us up so that we do not give into temptation.

“And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew‬ ‭26:40-41‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

Ezekiel‬ ‭22:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The greatest tool God has given us in this realm is unknown tongues. As we pray in tongues our spirit is praying through our lips what the  Holy Spirit is giving us to pray. The Holy Spirit only says what He here's Jesus say and Jesus is the great intercession for mankind.

God Is looking for those who will seclude themselves away in their secret place first to know God and then as He leads you, to pray for people and cities and nations, to thwart the rule of the devil in people's lives. People do not flock to receive the greatest, most glorious news in the universe because Satan has lied to them and blinded them. In prayer we undo the works of Satan in their lives so that they might be saved.

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:19-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
