Reigning in Life
July 11, 2017
Devotions:
There is none that can compare with our God! There is no sin that is more powerful than the power of God's redemption. Jesus' death on the cross for our sin totally overcame the sin as witnessed by His resurrection from the dead. When we believe in Him we become partakers of His resurrection. He imparts new life to us, His righteous life, and makes us new creations. his immutable life in us gives us an intimacy, a oneness with the Father like Jesus has. We become masters of the sin that tries to destroy us. We become masters of sickness and disease, of poverty and depression not only in our own lives but also in the lives of others who will come for us to minister to them, just like Jesus did. As Jesus was born of the Father so are we born of the Father. As Jesus was baptised in the Holy Spirit, Matthew 3:16,17, so we have received that same power from on high. Our God won the victory to make us just like Jesus. We believe and act like it is true and we will see the same results that Jesus had. Sin is not to reign over you but you are to reign over sin. Sickness and disease are not to reign over you but you are to reign over sickness and disease. Poverty and lack are not to reign over you but you are to reign over poverty and lack. None of the work of the enemy is to reign over us but we are to reign over them.
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
Romans 5:17 KJV
