Tongues: The Perfect Prayer

 January 15, 2018

Devotions:

When Jesus was on the earth for 33 years He was one hundred percent man but without the limitations of sin, guilt, failure and shame. He was born of a virgin so He was born without sin. He had the perfect fellowship with the Father with none of the effects or hinderences of sin or sin consciousness. He prayed the perfect will of the Father with no limitations or road blocks. He only spoke what He heard His Father saying.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are redeemed but our soul still thinks the way of the world to a certain extent which finders our prayer life because it hinders our faith.

So part of the package of salvation is the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of a new prayer language in unknown tongues. This prayer language is as the Spirit gives the utterance,

“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He is always available, and it is always the perfect will of the Father. In our new birth and anointing with the Holy Spirit, Jesus gave us the ability to pray like He did with no limitations, the perfect will of the Father.
