“Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.” Hebrews‬ ‭7:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is speaking of Jesus in His Melchizedek priesthood.  The Levitical priesthood was according to the Law of Moses but the Melchizedek priesthood was by an oath.  The picture that we have is after Abram rescued Sodom and Gomorrah, he gave tithes to Melchizedek and Melchizedek blessed him making Melchizedek greater than Abram. Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses not by trying to keep the law but by living His endless life. Notice that this does not say endless existence but life. This is the same endless life or eternal life that those who believe on Jesus have.  John 3:16. It is by this life that we are to walk and live.  It this life that is our righteousness and free access to the Father because it is His life.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” ‭Amos‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As we walk in this life we will totally fulfill the law.  If we try to fulfill the law on our own strength then we will fail. When we walk in this life we walk in the blessing of God.  Like Adam God just ask us to believe in Him and His love for us. Adam chose not to believe and fell into sin.  When we believe that Jesus died for our sin and receive it, we are born again and are choosing to believe in His love for us.  We must continue to believe in His love for us then all areas of life.  The Christian life is a total dependence upon  God and His life within us.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:" ‭Romans‬ ‭8:14-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
