Devotions:
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:19-22 KJV
“The integrity of the upright shall guide them: But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” Proverbs 11:3 KJV
Our greatest privilege is to work with the Lord. We have walk a sanctified life. We are under grace not under the law. Grace empowers us to live a holy life. Law could only require it but it can not enable us to live it. We should now make a presumption on grace that because we are forgiven, we can live like we want. When we walk in sin we open the door to Satan to torment us and destroy us. If we are working for the Lord and have a secret sin that we engage ourselves in, the enemy will have a crack to enter into and destroy us. Many think that when we sin and reap the fruit of our sin, it is God judging us. But when we insist our own way, God will just back up and allow us to do us whatever we are insist on and reap the fruit until we are tired of the results. When we ask Him, He will show us the way out. There will be a time when God will judge the sin on the earth.
