The weapon of praise

Devotions:
“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” Psalm 8:2 KJV
“But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He did and the boys and the girls and the youths and the maidens crying out in the porches and courts of the temple, Hosanna (O be propitious, graciously inclined) to the Son of David! they were indignant. And they said to Him, Do You hear what these are saying? And Jesus replied to them, Yes; have you never read, Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have made (provided) perfect praise? [Ps. 8:2.]”. Matthew 21:15-16 AMPC
One of our mightiest weapons is our praise. The more specific the praise the more powerful it will be. It is not just saying, “praise the Lord.” But. “Lord I praise you because Jesus bore my illnesses and diseases. I praise you that I am healed.” Or “I praise you Father that you have already delivered me from this evil situation. Not that you are going to deliver me but that you have already delivered me, according to your word.”
The verse that Jesus quoted in Matthew 21 where He says praise, the Psalmist says strength. Our praise is our strength. Abraham demonstrated this as Paul recounts in Romans 4.
“he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” Romans 4:20-21 KJV
The more time you spend praising God for your victory according to His word, the stronger you become in your faith until you are fully persuaded that God’s word is truth for you and in your situation.
