Knowing God

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32 KJV
We are facing a great battle in life and the enemy wants to destroy everyone he can. If we are born again we have the weapons to walk in victory but we cannot walk alone. Our victory comes from our relationship with God. We were never created to go it alone. Our natural resources by ourselves are woefully inadequate to be a success. But when we are connected to God in an intimate, personal way then we cannot be defeated because we know the lies of the devil that he tells us about our Fathers love are totally false. Love always demonstrates on behalf of the object that is loved. God cherishes us, blesses us and protects us as we stay close to Him. It is not that He does not want to bless us and protect us when we are not walking that close to Him but we have a free will and He will not violate that will. So if we reject His love, He blesses us as much as He can and then tries to woo us back.
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3 KJV
Our greatest in fact the fountain head from which all our blessings flow is to know God intimately. We have the privilege to get to know God more intimately than any human being no matter how good the human relationshp is because God is prefect love and we draw our love to be able to love others, from Him. Without Him we are totally bankrupt. Nothing else in life or eternity matters but to know Him and as we know Him we will love Him and love His creation. As we know Him then we will display and manifest His great love and power to undo and destroy the works of the enemy in the lives of others. This is what it means to enforce the victory already won for us.
