God's Faithfulness

Devotions:

        “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”  ‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        “But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yes and no.”  ‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        We must settle the issue of God's faithfulness towards us.  He is faithfull to His word to us.  God gives us His word that reveals His goodness and loving kindness to us and He stands true to that word to fulfill it in our lives.  God is no respecter of persons.  What He has done for others, what He has said, He will do, He will do.  He stands behind His word to perform it in our lives.  If we do not see immediate results we must be totally convinced that He will fulfill it.  We need to continue to build our faith for the answer we are desiring by continully meditating on the scripture that promises us what we have asked for and by continually giving praises for what we have asked. 

        God will do nothing apart form His word.  God cannot lie so we can totally depend upon what He has said He will do!  As we train ourselves to quickly believe His word we become excited about His promises.  When we become emotionally involved because we believe His word is true to us we are then engaging our whole being in believing what His word says and we will be in stronger faith to see it come about.  Faith reaches out and takes what God has freely offered for our benefit.  Faith is confident of our Father's faithfulness to keep His word for those who believe.  God will move heaven and earth to move on behalf of those who believe His word.  We must have the attitude that we will not be denied because our God is faithful.

        “Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it."”
