Devotions:

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭NKJV‬

“And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."  II Corinthians‬ ‭3:4-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everyone in the body of Christ is called into the ministry not just those who are called to be behind the pulpit.  We are all called to the ministry of reconciliation.  we serve in different venues but we are all called to serve.  Christianity is not about our getting our needs met but about doing the will of the Father.  As we do His will He will meet our needs but our focus has to be on doing His will.  He wills that none be lost but all come to the knowledge of salvation. That is our Father's business, sharing the good news of salvation.

Paul relied totally on the Grace of God to do the work that he was set apart to do. Each one of us must also then rely on the Grace of God to do what He has called us to do. Our ability to minister is by His ability in us and not by our own smarts.  Many people are hesitant and fearful about ministering because they look to their own strength and ability to do the will of God instead of looking to God within them.  The only we can be effective ministers of the New Covenant is by relying on His Grace.  Our sufficiency is not in ourselves but in God. He is the one who made us ministers of the New Covenant by His Spirit within us.

Get to know the Holy Spirit who dwells within you and look to Jesus who is your more than enough supply.
