"Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words." (Daniel 10:12 KJV)
Daniel prayed and set himself to believe that God heard his prayer. It took three weeks for the answer to come but it came because Daniel spoke words of faith in his prayer. The answer was sent the first daythat Daniel prayed.
Do we believe that God hears our prayers? Daniel was praying for understanding of the times which was in line with God's will so our prayers that are in line with the will of God are heard and if we do not let go of our faith we will see the answer.
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (1 John 5:12-15 KJV)
Our salvation is in haveing eternal life, the life of Jesus in us. We were born of God of that life so we were born sons of God. Because we are sons of God by birth and our elder Brother has defeated the enemy, satan, we can be assured that our prayers will be answered, even more sure than Daniel was. We are of the life and nature of God and He delights in us. John says that then we can have confidence that because we are the sons of God and we ask according to His will, God hears us and we know that if He hears us we have the petition which we have asked for. God's word is His will so anything that we find in His word is His wil; healing, deliverance, provision, comfort, counsel and wisdom, joy, peace...
What are you asking for? Do you know it is God's will? do you see yourself possessing what you ask for before you see it?
